Low traffic in the evening and a drunk man, that lives nearby the gas station was talking to us and was pretty anoying.There is a 2* hotel at the station if you need to sleep overnight, but is pretty expensive.
But we were very lucky and a lovely couple took us home.

You can try to hhike before the boarder, but drivers afraid to stop, because there are a lot of signes that do not alowd to stop and a lot of police and boarderguards who are not very friendly to hhikers. its forbiden to cross boarder by foot at this checkpoint. Don't know how it is now when Poland and Czeh are in Schengen..―Anonymous

An excellent place to go to Brno and further to Austria. However, it is best to try asking truck drivers on the parking lot. Took me and my friend about 10 minutes, and we were not the only hitchhikers!―Onmyown

Good spot to hitchhike to Poland. Got a ride by truck in 5 minutes. We had a sign to Katowice, but he took us just about 30 km from there to the petrol station. But it was not a problem to take a lift from there.―Paja

Well there is a place for the trucks to stop. If for some reason you are stuck there at night (or by day), you can ask the truck drivers to take you.―Miles

You can ask in the parking truck drivers, if You have luck this day You can go to Istambul w Turkish driver, because many Turkish drivers stop here. But, it's not good place for thumb, better go after border, there is a long tight bay;)―TMB6
